Paris Camembert - Martin in offensive in home region, Minnaard just outside top 10

Guillaume Martin showed an offensive spirit in his home race Paris-Camembert (1.1, 10/04). After an attack try by Simone Antonini Wanty-Groupe Gobert controlled the pace in the peloton behind three escapees. The victory was decided in the local laps around Livarot. Lilian Calmejane took off at 27 kilometers from the finish. Home rider Guillaume Martin (origin from Normandy) had his sights on this race and reacted in the counterattack. In rainy conditions he was unfortunately again caught by the reduced peloton. The victory went to solo attacker Calmejane, Martin finished top 15 but the best WGG-finisher was Marco Minnaard, who finished as 11th in the chasing group.
