GP Marcel Kint - GVK feels good in bad weather circumstances

In a rainy and windy edition of GP Marcel Kint (1.2, 11/09) Guillaume Van Keirsbulck showed himself on Monday. Tom Devriendt was the first attacker of the day. Devriendt was caught quickly by the peloton. The peloton broke up in several parts under the bad weather circumstances. Only 34 of the 106 starters reached the finish line. Frederik Backaert went into the offensive with 70km to go and also Guillaume Van Keirsbulck felt good in the bad weather. GVK joined the group Backaert and was part of the decisive 11 men breakaway. In this group seven riders accelerated and a little later only four remained. Jonas Rickaert was the fastest in the sprint, GVK finished 7th in Zwevegem.
